yes because of the creepy situation I’m in. Try deep breathing from your gut, it helps relieve the symptoms

HERE IS WHAT I just wrote to another sufferer. I speak with knowledge of these things since I suffered for years and years and years. It was a literal hell on earth:

How old are you ? Chronic anxiety and depression are often the result of a chemical imbalance in our brains. You possibly need to see a mental health specialist, and try a small dose of Klonopin for awhile.
Learn to breathe thru the bottom of your lungs. Most folks like those who have panic breathe thru only the top of their lungs. To check….lie flat on your back on your bed and place a hand on your abdomen. If your abdomen is not rising and falling as you breathe, you are hyperventilating. Train yourself to take slow breaths so that your abdomen rises and falls each time. Practice until this becomes automatic. You can do it at home, at school, in public, wherever you need to do it.
Proper breathing will stop a panic attack in its tracks. Remember, breathing thru the bottom of your lungs is normal, and it is essential.
We all live life at a rapid pace. And we ALL need to learn to slow down and smell the roses. We were not created to live hectic lives, always on the run here and there. We need times of peace and quiet also, times where we can just sit and watch the birds, or take out a picnic lunch to the park, and leave our worries and strifes aside. Try to implement PEACE into your life.
Slowing down physically is essential to good mental health. I also strongly suggest a relationship with the God of the Bible. He will help you like no one else can.
Blessings to you, my dear, God does not want you to live your life like this forever. Look to Him.

While I don’t quite have a disorder, I am constantly panicking about things. Yeah, I have anxiety issues.

I too suffer from horrible anxiety and have been on the verge of a panic attack all day. I am out of xanax and I am afraid to ask my dr. for more because I don’t want him to think that I am abusing it but if I don’t do something soon I am going to freak out. I feel like I could crawl right out of my skin. I am sure that this isn’t helping, but at least you know you aren’t the only one.

I take meds for this and I’m managing. I dont think I will ever be free though. It’s a gnarly problem that has plagued my entire teen/adult life.
